Mr. Bujor Prelipceanu, the Moldova Philharmonic of Iași organizes at this time the 25th edition of the Romanian Music Days. The lineup of events started on Saturday, the 14th of October, with a concert held by the choir of the institution and it continued on Sunday, the 15th of October with a recital of the Ad Libitum string quartet. How were these two appearances received by the public of Iași?

The concert of the Gavriil Musicescu choir took place on Saturday at the metropolitan cathedral, the performance also included the sermon devoted to Iași and to the Parascheva Saint. On Sunday, it was the time for the concert of the Ad Libitum quartet which performed George Enescu's Aubade, a concert premiere dedicated to Adrian Berescu, the former leading violin of the Ad Libitum quartet created by the Maestro Viorel Munteanu, a very inspired and delightful work. Soon after the break the "Consonanțe" quartet by Pascal Bentoiu followed, an amazing work, which, for that matter, you can also find on the 50th anniversary disk of the Voces quartet, which was released by Radio House. At the moment, we have Daniel Jinga, the director of the National Opera of Bucharest, who is preparing for Friday's performance of "Crai nou" by Ciprian Porumbescu as our guest.
