Conductor David Crescenzi returns to thes tage of Sala Radio, where he will conduct a concert together with the National Radio Orchestra, the Radio Academic Choir and the pianist Horia Mihail. The maestro gives us more information about the event in a dialogue with Sarah Natsis:

Mr. David Crescenzi, on Friday you will be conducting a concert at Sala Radio. You often collaborate with the orchestra of the Bucharest institution. What can you tell us about the relationship you have with the members of this ensemble?

It's been 10 years since we started collaborating. I am proud of this collaboration, because I have always considered the Radio Orchestra and Choir to be the best ensembles in Europe. I started with Don Carlo and continued with several pieces in concert and symphonic programs.

The evening's soloist will be pianist Horia Mihail. What can you tell us about him as an artist considering it's not your first collaboration?

I am lucky to work with Horia Mihail. This is the third timeI'm collaborating with him. The first time was when we performed Bach, after that I conducted the Grieg's concerto, and now Beethoven. I have always considered Horia Mihail, Gabriel Croitoru and other Romanian musicians - like Mihai Ungureanu, for example - to be the best musicians in Romania.

What projects are found in your concert agenda in Romania for the near future?

I have- La fanciulla del West by Puccini and Messa da Requiem by Verdi at the Cluj Opera, I'll return to the Radio in January, with Cristina Păsăroiu, I also have - The Barber of Seville and Un ballo in maschera at the Iași Opera and I will be opening the New Year with the George Enescu Philharmonic.
